Dr. Clodagh McAllister

Clodagh qualified from the Dublin Dental Hospital, Trinity College in 1992 and set up her practice in 1999 at 25 Marino Mart, Fairview. The practice moved to its current location in 2006.
Dr. McAllister teaches part time in the Dublin Dental University School and Hospital (Advanced Restorative Department and the Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory). She has a post graduate diploma in conscious sedation in dentistry from King’s College London (Dental Institute). She also has a diploma in cognitive hypnotherapy, is an NLP practitioner and has received her Facial Aesthetics training in the UK.
Her main interests are in the treatment of nervous, anxious and phobic patients. She is trained in the use of dental lasers and uses this latest technology in her general practice.
She is a member of the Irish Dental Association, the Royal Society of Medicine, SAAD and the Irish Conscious Sedation in Dentistry Group.
Currently she is the Honorary Secretary of the Irish Dental Association and will become President of the Association in 2021.

Denise completed her undergraduate training in Trinity College, Dublin qualifying 1st in her class in 2009.
She then completed House Officer roles in the Dublin Dental University Hospital and at the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford during which she completed her MFDS with the Royal college of Surgeons of Ireland. She started her post-graduate specialist orthodontic training at the University of Birmingham in 2013, where she completed her Masters of Science.
She obtained her Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh in 2016 receiving the prestigious William Houston Gold Medal for obtaining the highest results.
Dr Annie Hughes

Annie graduated with a first class honours degree in Dentistry from Trinity College Dublin in 2019. Upon graduation, she was awarded the Sheldon Friel Prize for achieving the highest overall grade in her class. She was also awarded the Dental Council Restorative Prize and the prestigious Gold Medal award from the University.
Annie started out her career as a JuniorHouse Officer in the Dublin Dental University Hospital (DDUH) where she gained experience in all areas of dentistry. Her duties included working in oral surgery, A+E, restorative and paediatric dentistry. She then took on the role as the Restorative Senior House Officer in DDUH which helped develop her skillset in fixed and removable prosthodontics, implant dentistry and periodontology.
Alongside working in DDUH, Annie completed her Diploma inPrimary Care Dentistry and was awarded membership with the Royal College of Surgeons Ireland. She is a committee member of the metrobranch of the Irish Dental Association. Annie enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advances and techniques. She has presented research at both a national and international level and is actively involved with a research group in Temple Street Hospital.

Dr Anna Harnett

Anna graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Glasgow in 2019 and completed Vocational Training in Scotland. Prior to this Anna obtained a BSc(Hons) in Physiology from University College Cork and a Diploma in Dental Nursing in Carlisle, England.
Anna has also completed post graduate exams with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow and is a member of the Irish Dental Association. Currently, Anna is completing her Level 7 in Aesthetic Medicine with Harley Academy, London.
When not in surgery Anna has a keen interest in Irish music and dancing. She can also be found in the workshop creating bespoke pieces of woodwork.
Anna has a keen interest in general practice dentistry and facial aesthetics, she enjoys keeping up to date with the latest advancements and putting anxious patients at ease.
Dr Essy Vassileva
Dr Essy Vassileva received her Dental Degree from the Medical University of Sofia, Bulgaria, in 2003. Following several years in general dentistry, her strong interest in orthodontics inspired her to start working with removable appliances, and in 2009 she was introduced to the world of fixed orthodontic appliances and the Alexander Discipline. She was taught by Dr R.G. Alexander, one of the worldwide leading professors in orthodontics, and she confidently resolved many orthodontic treatments over the past ten years.
For her, the path to be a perfect orthodontist led here to further expand here knowledge in the academic field. In 2018, Dr Vassileva was awarded a Masters Degree in Clinical Dentistry, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics from BPP University, London, UK.
Dr Vassileva is a Member of the Irish Dental Association, Dublin Dental Study Club, Bulgarian Dental Association and Alexander Club (Alexander Discipline Orthodontic Study Club) Bulgaria.
She is also fluent in Spanish and can easily understand Italian or Portuguese speaking patients.
Registered Dental Hygienist

Clare qualified as a Dental Hygienist in 1992 from Guy’s Hospital, London and was awarded the Hu Friedy Prize for outstanding Clinical Skills in her year group.
Following her graduation, Clare worked in General Dental Practice in Battersea, South London and the Periodontal Clinic at Guy’s Hospital.
In 1993 Clare moved to Saudi Arabia and joined the Dental Team at King Faisal Military Hospital in Khamis Mushayt, a city in the south west of the country. She worked there for 3 years. As a result of the many and varied cases that she encountered, Clare gained extensive experience in the treatment of periodontal disease.
Clare moved to Ireland in 1996 and has worked in both General Dental Practice and Specialist Practices in Dublin. She has retained her keen interest in periodontal disease andisenthusiastic about empowering patients through oral health education. Clare continues to develop her skills through CPD courses for Dental Hygienists.
Senior receptionist/ Practice Manager
Margaret works in the practice as our full time receptionist/practice manager and has been working in the practice since 2006. She manages the diaries for all our clinical staff and liaises with the nursing team to ensure the efficient running of the practice.
